Athletes from around the world will step on to Sport Court basketball courts this weekend, as the 2014 FIBA 3x3 All Stars take place on Friday 12 December in Doha, Qatar. The worlds best-ranked 3x3 players will hope to walk off the  #OfficialCourt of FIBA 3x3 with $120,000 USD in prize money.

FIBA posted a few reasons for you to watch this weekend, and aside from the fact that it is played on a custom Sport Court basketball are a few of the top reasons they had to tune in.

1. 3x3 is all about bringing basketball to the people and play in high-traffic locations against a backdrop of the most iconic cityscapes on the planet. Watching the FIBA 3x3 All Stars will feel like watching Discovery Channel with Katara Beach and the Doha skyline on the horizon and just metres away from the grandiose Katara Roman amphitheatre, host of an open-air opera on Friday night. This is also a key reason Sport Court provides the courts...our high-performance basketball courts are modular and can be set-up anywhere in the world!

2. It's one thing to be a good shooter in a gym, but an altogether different one to still make your shots outdoors. Novi Sad's Dejan Majstorovic made 9 out of 10 shots from behind the arc in the first round of the Samsung Shoot-Out at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final. Can he win the QBF Shoot-Out in Doha on the Sport Court 3x3 court?

3. You simply can't miss the QBF Dunk Contest on the Sport Court basketball court. This could be the contest of the year with three-time FIBA 3x3 World Tour Dunk Champion Rafal 'Lipek' Lipinski, Harlem Globe Trotter Chris Staples and Jordan 'Mission Impossible' Kilganon whose brand new "scorpion dunk" hit more than two million views on YouTube in a month.

From under 3x3 basketball stars from the Youth Olympic Games to the future of basketball in the Olympic games (fingers crossed for Tokyo 2020), FIBA 3x3 basketball is something you shouldn't miss...
